Stag Beetle
The Stag beetle, (family Lucanidae) is an umbrella name used to describe 900+ different species of beetle and are distinguishable by their mandibles that grow to resemble antlers. In many species, the mandibles can make up half or more of its total length. They can also grow to be some of the largest beetles in the world. Known species are all in decline, ranging from vulnerable to critically endangered.
